1 bag Planet Hemp Superfood Super Seed Original (about a cup)
½ cup (125ml) Planet Hemp Superfood hemp seeds
2 tablespoons (30ml) chia seeds
½ teaspoon (2.5ml) cinnamon
½ cup (125ml) pure maple syrup
¼ cup (60ml) vegan butter or coconut oil
1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla
pinch of salt
HOW TO MAKE:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (160 degrees Celsius).
In a medium bowl, combine Super Seed blend, hemp seeds, chia seeds and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a small saucepan, heat maple syrup with vegan butter, vanilla and salt until warmed through. Pour maple mixture over the seeds and mix thoroughly.
Prepare a rimmed 9 x 13 baking sheet with parchment paper so that the parchment runs up the sides of the sheet. Pour seed mixture onto the baking sheet and shake sheet gently to distribute evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Edges will be turning golden but the mixture will not be crisp. Remove baking sheet to a cooling rack and let cool completely. Break into bite size pieces and store loosely covered at room temperature for up to ten days.
